Peak Engineering & Design addresses the mixed use development marketplace by recognizing the benefits that this type of development brings to a community. Mixed use developments have become a specialized strategy to overcome multiple development obstacles including municipal approvals, “work where you live” concepts and more. In addition, with increasing land values, the need to increase density while remaining environmentally sensitive to the surrounding community is of paramount concern. Our staff works with mixed use developments in multiple ways, including multi-use buildings, shared parking facilities, second story residential, retirement communities and off-peak trip generating sites.
